What's the word mashup of horror memoir, like terrifying memoir? Yeah, like a thriller roar or something like that.

A vomit noir. The puns aren't coming to me, but something that makes you like you can't stop reading it even though you're sick. You know, you want more of it even though it's making you sick. Okay, so Sarah, as you know, I already did a hour and a half podcast talking about this book.

Discussion about this video

Really interesting episode! As a New Zealander I’m interested in how Sarah’s upbringing here in NZ influenced her thinking and decisions. Looking forward to listening to the audio book.

I haven’t read the book but it’s on my list! And here’s to being off social media (by that I mean IG and Facebook) for the last 4+ months. It’s been so liberating!

I wasn't able to watch live so I'm happy you shared the playback. I had already listened to the Glamorous Trash episode about this book so I was wondering if this extra discussion would be worth my time. It certainly was!! I loved this conversation.

Only 10 minutes in and I can't help thinking about how my niece reacted in disbelief when I told her that my college boyfriend considered studying psychology for marketing, back in the late 1980s. She was like, why would a marketing major study psychology?

Oh, honey, sit down. You're a full-grown adult who hasn't watched Mad Men. You might need to breathe into a paper bag for a few minutes before I break your worldview.
